I am so excited to be sharing these beautiful
Frontier Park family portraits on the blog today! This family is so special to me – Kara and Louie have always been incredibly supportive of my work. I just feel incredibly lucky to work with them and have them as clients! I had the privilege of being one of the first people to meet Ethan. I actually got to be there in the delivery room for his birth (something I hope to do more of in the future!). It was such a special moment, and something I’ll never forget. And Elijah is awesome – he actually swims with my girls so it’s always fun to see him!!
We decided to do our session in two locations – Main Street in St. Charles and Frontier Park. It had rained before our session but the pavement looked absolutely stunning because of it! It gave such a beautiful glow to the portraits! Elijah was a joy to photograph – he loved holding Ethan for portraits and even though Ethan wasn’t sure about smiling, everything turned out so cute!!! I loved the distressed look of the barn type door we found! Super cute with the grey and khaki outlets they chose. After we got some of the portraits along Main Street, we headed to Frontier Park for a few more portraits to wrap up the session! I made sure we got some new portraits of Kara and Louie – it’s so important to keep your portraits updated, even after you have kids!!
Kara, Louie, Elijah, and Ethan, thank you for letting me spend the day with you! It was so much fun and I had a great time capturing these portraits for you! You are such a special family to me and I can’t wait to work with you again!
