This fall, I had a great time capturing Jacob’s St. Charles senior portraits and I’m thrilled to be sharing them with you today! We spent his session between downtown St. Charles and Frontier Park. Both of these locations are stunning, especially in the fall and worked out perfectly for Jacob’s session. Our session began downtown where we found an old loading dock. It was a great spot to let Jacob warm up for our session. I know that senior sessions can be a little overwhelming – it’s a lot of focus on you! But I strive to make the atmosphere very relaxed and Jacob was truly a natural. We moved onto some other buildings downtown to finish out his first outfit. I have to mention how much I like the outfits he chose – such great choices!
After he changed, we finished up a few more portraits in the downtown St. Charles area. We chatted a little bit about how school was going and his plans after graduation, which might be my favorite part of senior sessions! These sessions should be all about celebrating everything you’ve achieved and the excitement of what comes next. And I really do love hearing about all of it! Afterwards, we headed down to Frontier Park to finish capturing his portraits. It was the perfect time of day to be at the park as the sun was setting and gave our portraits the most perfect glow. What a way to end a session!
Seniors! There’s still time left to capture your portraits before you graduate. The spring can be busy so make sure you send me a note today about scheduling your senior portraits. I promise, it’s a great way to celebrate your achievements plus you now have some great portraits to display at your graduation party! Congratulations again, Jacob! I had a great time celebrating with you!
