Danny and Katy had a beautiful spring Soulard engagement session, and I am so excited to be sharing it with you now! This session was full of sweet moments and a beautiful part of St. Louis. Danny and Katy are so in love with each other and they were a joy to work with. They met at the marketing agency where they both work. After being introduced to each other, they learned more about each other while they were playing on the company’s kickball team! As they spent more time together, they realized they were falling in love with each other. Before long, Danny popped the question and Katy said yes! These two are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together, and what a pair they make!
We started the session at Soulard Farmer’s Market in St. Louis MO. This historic market has been here for almost 250 years, which is why it’s so iconically St. Louis! It was the perfect spot for our session to kick off! Danny and Katy chose some spring inspired outfits for our sessions among the brick of the Soulard Market. Such a great choice! The weather was beautiful – we laughed and walked, what a wonderful time spent celebrating Danny and Katy.
After we finished in the Soulard Farmer’s Market, we headed into the heart of the area. Katy and Danny spend a lot of time in Soulard, so I was having a ball photographing them on the streets. The two frequent McGurk’s, where they spent a lot of their early relationship getting to know each other. If you’re not familiar with it, Soulard is full of bars and restaurants – all within walking distance from each other! It was a wonderful spot to photograph them since it was so personal to them. I always recommend couples think about a location that matters to them when we start planning their engagement session.
