This was by far one of my very favorite days of the year because my cousin got married, and we welcomed Justin in to the family!!!! It was a beautiful day from beginning to end!

Jess is 9 years younger than me. But, I still vividly remember the little panda bear cake her grandma made her for her first birthday party! That cute little girl has grown into a beautiful woman, and I’m so glad I have gotten to witness it! Jess’ smile and laugh are contagious. She has definitely found her match with Justin! They just so naturally fit together, and it’s lovely to see how happy they make each other!

They picked Mount Pleasant Winery as their wedding venue because it’s special to them. It’s one of their favorite date night spots, and it was a beautiful backdrop to their day! The vineyard is just down the road from the tasting room and ceremony location. I’m so glad we saved some time in their day to hop on over because those portraits are some of my favorite that I’ve ever taken. Again, I may be biased because I love the couple so much, but I think they turned out gorgeous.

It was a great experience for me as a photographer to also be on the “other” side as part of the family. Consequently, it gave me a greater appreciation for how much time and effort is put into a wedding day behind the scenes. Even extended family members ***cough*** my mom ***cough*** bought multiple dresses to wear because she couldn’t decide which one to wear. Also, See if you can spot my girls in any of the pics. 😉

Jess and Justin were such a joy to work with from the very first time we started talking about the wedding. So, this was a day our whole family had been pumped for for quite some time… and, it did NOT disappoint!!! I am thrilled to be sharing so many of my favorites from this beautiful day!
