This beautiful St. Louis wedding styled shoot was a blast to be a part of!
Tanisha Watkins planned a beautiful wedding day at an old church site in Midtown St. Louis to inspire local brides and grooms when planning their special day! There were two couples, gowns, and groom inspiration to photograph but I especially loved the navy and blush look you’ll see below! Navy and blush has always been a huge trend for weddings but I never get tired of it! It’s so classic now.
We started with some wedding portraits along the old church site. The church itself had been burned down and now the location is covered with incredible vines and moss creating a beautiful space. The wedding portraits were a great time to show off the stunning ivory gown for the bride from David’s Bridal and the navy suit from Men’s Wearhouse. Our bride carried a beautiful, full bouquet with bright pink and ivory florals from
Faith’s Florals and our beauty team created an elegant, classic and natural look for the bride (thanks
Emma Swacker and
Shanice Mac!).
After capturing some incredible wedding portraits, we moved into the reception space.
Premier Party Rentals provided a beautiful table setup with gorgeous burgundy and gold details. I loved how simple and elegant the place settings were and I hope to see more of this color combination at upcoming St. Louis weddings! Also, can we talk about that stunning cake from
Sweet Design Bakery? It was a beautiful naked cake, another popular wedding trend these days! This shoot was beautiful from start to finish and highlighted a fun St. Louis spot. I’m so glad I got to be a part of this incredible day!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made this beautiful styled shoot possible!
