As a mom myself, I’ve come to realize how important family portraits really are. They document your family – at whatever stage you’re in: growing, young, grown up. They remind you of how you were, how your babies were, and the fun that you had. I believe that these portraits are probably some of the most important photographs you’ll ever have. That’s why I get so excited when I get the opportunity to photograph families! This fall, I was able to host Queeny Park family portraits and it was a total blast!

During mini sessions, I’m able to spend just a little bit of time with each family. These mini sessions are great because they’re just the right length for young kids! We have fun laughing, playing, and just letting you be a family – which is what I’m all about. Sessions are short and sweet, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get portraits that you love. It’s amazing how much you can capture in a little bit of time. I loved this year’s fall mini sessions because each of the families that came were so awesome and they all had beautiful outfits for the season! Another reason I love fall minis is the excuse to wear your coziest sweaters and boots. Seriously, what more could you want?

Sessions this year were at the incredible Queeny Park, right in St. Louis! The park was the perfect backdrop for our sessions and we lucked out with a truly gorgeous sunset. All of the kids had a great time running around and snuggling in with their parents and siblings. The amount of love was truly overwhelming in the best way!
