I don’t think I’ve ever met a more joy-filled couple than Wesley and Kristin. Their St. Louis engagement session was one for the books. It wasn’t just because the session was beautiful, but because they were such a dream to work with! We met in October to celebrate their upcoming wedding with their engagement session and it turned out to be the perfect day. When I plan engagement sessions, I work with my couples to choose locations that are both meaningful and aesthetically pleasing (after all, it IS about their pictures!). For Wesley and Kristin, we focused on Downtown St. Louis, Busch Stadium and Malcom W Martin Memorial Park for their session.
We started at Busch Stadium (Go Cardinals!) and chatted away about wedding plans while these two laughed and posed for me all around the outside of the stadium. I love these images because they feel so cozy and natural! And Kristin seriously has the best fashion sense. All three outfits she picked for both her and Wesley were spot on! After we finished at Busch Stadium, we grabbed a few portraits right next to the stadium. The fall leaves and the sunlight peaking through the trees were the perfect combination to create truly sweet fall portraits for these two! We headed over to Malcom W Martin Memorial Park for the remainder of their session. The Memorial Park gave us the most perfect view of the Gateway Arch! Such a great way to end Wesley and Kristin’s engagement session. And her dress?! A definite favorite of mine!
Wesley and Kristin, thank you so much for being such a joy to work with. Your laughter and happiness is contagious and my face is hurting from smiling looking back through all of these beautiful images again. I feel so lucky to know you both and am thankful fro the chance to capture these memories for you!
